The Annual Edition of the Portuguese Cup took place at the track of Maiorca, close to the city beach of Figueira da Foz, nice warm and sunny weather, but no time for leisure, just pure racing. The track as a very fast but non forgiven layout, you must always be focused and never loose speed. The organization was in charge of CRAFF and FEPRA.

Saturday i got to the track and quickly learned the layout and did some fine adjustments to my basic setup, this time i was alone since my fellow racers Pedro Moura and Jo?o Mariz just got to the track on sunday for the race, so i have to be concentrated on pratice and try to get the most out of the car. In the end of practice time i felt i had a good car and now was time for racing.

Sunday i get up as early as i can in order to be soon at the track and try to help and share as much information i can with all Xray drivers. Time was short for them so all help was welcome. Qualification got underway and i was driving confident and the car was really working well and qualified on 3rd. Pedro Moura spent some part of the qualification learning the track, but although that qualified 6th. Jo?o Mariz on stock class qualified 3rd for the mains. Modified finals were very competitive and on the last main 3 drivers could won the event, i was one of them, but in the end i was unlucky and finished 2nd. Pedro Moura finished 4th and Jo?o Mariz on Stock Class did a wonderful 2nd place.

Since this is just my second race for the Team and with T3 2012, i feel i'm still on a learning process with the car, but all the team is focused and working hard to get good results. This time we got good results, but there is still a lot to do.
